WARDOGS Alpha Key: What Access Is Available Now

There is no public WARDOGS Alpha key to claim now, and the August 7-9, 2026 Closed Alpha has ended. The current route is Steam Request Access for a selection chance or a pre-order for guaranteed August Closed Beta entry.

Key Status

No reusable code, public key list, or permanent Alpha invitation has been announced. An old code cannot reopen a completed test, and this site does not distribute keys. Search results that promise an instant Alpha unlock are using outdated language at best and attempting account theft or payment fraud at worst.

Current access should be tied to the official Steam account flow. A legitimate invitation or purchase entitlement belongs in Steam, not in a downloadable launcher, browser extension, survey reward, or direct-message attachment.

Legacy FirstLook Route

Earlier WARDOGS testing used a FirstLook community registration flow that could involve Discord or Steam sign-in and community verification. That process explains older guides, screenshots, and questions about dashboards or account linking. It is historical context for the Alpha period, not a required step for the present Closed Beta route.

Do not follow reconstructed button-by-button instructions from an old interface. The page state, permissions, and campaign may have changed, and the approved current access control is visible on the official Steam store page.

Current Access

For the August 21-23, 2026 Closed Beta, Steam Request Access gives an applicant a chance to be selected. A pre-order guarantees beta entry under the published terms. Neither route needs a universal Alpha key. Sign into the Steam account you want to play on before requesting or buying, then verify any entitlement in that account's library and purchase history.

Joining the official Discord can help you follow announcements and troubleshooting, but membership or a role does not itself guarantee access. Never interpret a community badge as a replacement for the Steam entitlement.

Scam Safety

Reject offers that request a Steam password, Steam Guard code, Discord token, session cookie, cryptocurrency payment, gift card, or remote-control access. Do not run an executable described as a key checker or beta activator. A screenshot of a code is not proof that it is valid, unused, transferable, or relevant to the current test.

When a message claims to be from BULKHEAD, Team17, or WARDOGS, compare the announcement with the official Steam page and official Discord. Type or use a known official address instead of following a shortened sign-in link. If you already entered credentials on a suspicious page, change the password through the platform, revoke unknown sessions, and contact Steam Support.
